Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: We do not take a booking deposit, however on the day our Installation Technician will require a $50 cash deposit from you which will be refunded when they come back to pick the castle up on the condition that it is in the same condition they left it.

--

Q: How do I pay for the hire fee?

A: You can pay by cheque or bank deposit (EFT) so long as the funds are cleared before the day of hire. Alternatively you can pay by cash on the day; whichever suits you best. Cash payments need to be made when our Installation Technician arrives to set up the castle.

Q: What is your $99 special?

A: You may have seen various ads of ours saying "from $99" or "ask about our $99 special". We offer regular specials (some of which you will only know about if you have been referred by a friend) especially to repeat customers. Our $99 specials are as follows:

* Hire any Jumping Castle from us at full price twice, and on the third occasion get any non-combo castle for $99 (for 4 hours, or an extra $30 for all day).

* For larger parties and public events where you want 2 casltes: hire any Jumping Castle from us at full price and get another (non combo) of equal or lesser value for $99 for the same duration of time.

*If you send us your pictures of the kids having a great time with one of our Jumping Castles and we like it enough to add it to our website, you will receive a voucher code to hire any non-combo Jumping Castle for $99 valid for 12 months (this can only be used once, but can be passed on to one of your friends or family members.)

So if you hire a Jumping Castle regularly or have friends and family that do, it pays to stick with JuMpArAmA!

Q: What happens in the event of rain? Do you have rain covers?

A: Don't be fooled - there is no way to keep a Jumping Castle completely dry in the event of rain. Anyone that tells you otherwise is risking your childrens safety and your personal liability. We will probably cancel the hire if it is raining. There will not be a cancellation fee. If it starts raining after the hire time begins, children are to be vacated and kept away from the power chords and blower. If it looks like it may rain and you'd still like to hire the castle and then it rains after the hire time begins - there will be no refund unfortunately. If it starts raining before the party and you wish to cancel, please call us immediately.

Q: How long is "all day"?

A: Generally speaking, this is as early as you like (we try to have the castle set up and ready to go at least an hour before the party starts) till as late as you like within reason (we regularly do pickups as late as 10pm or later, however we'd be more reluctant to leave a castle at a party this late if there is alcohol involved or if we suspect that you intend to use it for adults. Call to discuss..)

Q: Can we hire a castle in a park or public area?

A: Yes, however you should check with the council or property owner about their regulations. If you require a copy of our Liability Insurance we can send this to the relevant person after the hire is confirmed. If the castle will be in a park which does not have access to electricity, you may need to hire a petrol powered generator. We recommend Kennards Hire. A supervisor will be required in public areas.

--

Q: What is the age and weight limit?

A: Each castle is different, so check the individual website pages for each castles capacity. In relation to age however, no castle is to be used by children over the age of 12 years.

--

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, we carry $10 million public liability insurance however this will not cover negligence which is why a) our Installation Technicians will only set up the castle according to strict safety policies, and b) you will be required to adhere to strict supervision safety guidelines. Even though they may not make it overtly obvious to you, this is also the case with all Jumping Castle Companies. If you would prefer not to accept this responsibility, we can provide a trained supervisor for a fee of $25 an hour.

--

Q: Can we hire the castle for a public event rather than a backyard party?

A: Yes however a suitably qualified supervisor will be required. Contact us for details.

--

Q: Can we hire the castle indoors or in a hall?

A: Yes however you will require at least 4.5 m in height for the medium sized castles, and 5m in height for the others. Do not take the hall owners word that “it should be okay because we’ve had jumping castles here before”. Different companies use different sized castles, so please ensure that the height requirements are met.

--

Q: The castle won’t fit around the side of the house; can we take it through the house?

A: Sorry but our delivery drivers will refuse to do this as it is against our Risk Management Policies to prevent damaging something inside your home.

--

Q: Can the castle go on concrete?

A: Castles which are open at the front can not. The rest can so long as it is a perfectly flat surface with no slope. An extra $10 fee is required to cover the labour of attaching 25kg sandbags to each corner of the castle and providing safety mats. This is a requirement all companies must adhere to in order to meet Australian Safety Standards, so please inform us of other companies who fail to adhere to these safety regulations.

--

Q: I’m not sure if the castle will fit.

A: We can come out to your property to inspect it if you like; however we charge a $20 fee to do this. A cheaper option is to buy or borrow a tape measure and use it to check the space. Remember to make sure there is enough height room as well, and be aware of overhead power lines and branches.

--

Q: How long does it take to set the castle up once the Installation Technician arrives?

A: Ideally no longer than 20 minutes assuming there are no delays. Please download our preparation document to ensure you are aware of how to ensure there are no delays or problems. Please be mindful that we have many parties to get to in time, so we may have to arive earlier than planned. Please help us out by letting us know both the earliest, latest and ideal time for arival. ('any' time may potentially mean 5am, so the more specific the better).

--

Q: What happens if the castle is damaged?

A: Jumping Castles are very fun, but unfortunately very expensive and require sensible supervision. The person who hires the castle will be held responsible for any damage that occurs under their supervision, so please ensure you follow our supervision safety rules appropriately as you will be required to agree to pay for any damages. So far this has only ever happened in instances where the castle has been left unsupervised or the supervisor has let adults use the castle. Damage which occurs as recklessness (which would be the case should you allow adults to use the castle) can also be deemed as Malicious Damage which is a criminal offense.

--

Q: What’s the latest I can book?

A: As late as you like, however the later you leave it the greater the probability that you will miss out. Generally speaking, most of the popular castles get booked out around 1-2 weeks in advance, though we usually have at least a few left over for last minute bookings. Week days are generally the best to contact us.

--

Q: Where are you located?

A: We have several depots throughout Western Sydney including the Holroyd, Blacktown & Nepean areas. On the day of your party however our delivery drivers may have up to 10 castles each to deliver all over Sydney - so regardless of where we are situated, this makes no difference in how easily we can reach you or what direction we will be travelling from on the day.

--

Q: What are your discounts for locals?

A: Our prices vary and we can offer discounts, however this depends on the castle and availability. It will also only apply if you enquire by email from an address linked to a facebook account, or phone from a number which is not blocked / private (this is so that we know that you are who you say you are rather than one of our competitors trying to sus us out). Ultimately however our prices vary depending on season, availability, popularity, condition of the castle and sometimes may simply be up to our discretion. We are more likely to be generous to people who book the castle in the first time they contact us, and more likely to up the price for people who contact us back and forth on multiple occasions as this clogs up our phone lines and makes for more work.

Q: What is the difference between a Clown and Face Painter?

A: A Clown Entertainer will do some basic face painting, though also does a variety of fun, entertaining and amazing tricks and games to keep the kids entertained and amused. A face painter only does face painting, though will spend more time with each child, turning each of the kids faces into a more maticulously detailed work of art.
